APPLE PASSION BIRCHER HEALTHY RECIPE

Start your day out right with a fantastically fresh and light apple passion bircher healthy recipe.  Prepare the night before, trust me, you will be excited to get up in the morning for this!

Gluten Free* | Nut Free* | Dairy Free | Vegan
(Serves: 2)

Ingredients:

1 cup of rolled oats* (use gluten free oats for a GF option)
1 green apple
1 ripe passionfruit
1 small tub of coconut yogurt (co-yo)
sprinkle of cinnamon
a handful of slivered almonds* (substitude for pumpkin seeds for a nut-free option)
coconut nectar (optional for sweetness)
freshly squeezed apple juice (you will need about 3 large green apples for this. If you don’t have a juicer, buy cold pressed apple juice; it’s the next best thing!)

Method:
This one takes a little bit of preparation.
The night before: 
1. Mix oats, apple juice and cinnamon well and place in an airtight container.
2. Place in the fridge and sleep well knowing your breakfast will taste amazing.
The morning of:
3. Save a wedge of the green apple (for decoration later) and finely grate the remainder.
4. Add the grated apple, almonds and honey to the oat mixture and combine.

Serve with coconut yogurt and top with passionfruit, garnish with thinly sliced apple and you’re done!
